Here is a list of things for you to do during the next part of lockdown, to fight the boredom of sitting at home alone.
5 Ways To Pass The Time During Lockdown
1. Fancy up the place you live in by redecorating your home
Redecorate your home. Put up some programmable LEDs to give your house mood-lighting, make your living room into a mini cinema with a homemade projector or change your curtains to blinds.
All of these things can make your home feel different and interesting, as well as giving you the motivation you need to get through the day. It may also be beneficial to do some spring cleaning, as a build-up of dust can have long term health issues.
2. Learn and do some Tech DIY
Do some tech DIY. This can be a little project, or something a bit more intense. This can range from revamping your computer or doing a whole new project, like making a fully functioning model of your dream home. You can get the pieces for components and motherboards from specialized search engines, such as Octopart. This can make your search for pieces easy instead of having to trek down to your local electronics store, which may or may not have what you want.
3. Do more, or different, exercise
If you already do a lot of exercises, try doing something a little more different. If you usually dance, try doing some more soccer orientated exercise, or if you do football, try some basketball.
Giving your body something new might help your brain focus, and will increase your skills across the board. If you only walk, try jogging or some weightlifting. Changing up your routine might make you feel as if the day is a little different, and not the same as it has been for the past month.
4. Set yourself some goals
Setting yourself some goals for the future will help you get motivated for the week ahead. When setting goals, it is good to work backward. If you have one overall goal, then set smaller sub-goals to help you achieve it. You are more likely to have a better chance at succeeding, so write a list of what you want to accomplish, and get it done.
5. Learn a new skill that will help you in the future
Learning a new skill can help you and others out in the world and make you a more well-rounded individual. Plus, once you learned it, You can teach it to your friends and family, so they can learn it too. This can also help you become more employable for when you are next looking for a job.
